Glowstick Twisters are two pieces of plastic tubing for holding the Glowstick's,
connected by a piece of cord. Which are manipulated around the hands, wrist and body.
Which produce spectacular traces. Glow stick Twister holders will cost about £7.00
UK and take up to two hours to make. There are a few variations this will tell you
how to make the simplest and cheapest. You will need two pieces of plastic tubing
22 cm x 19 mm, a piece of nylon string if possible, if not a good quality string
45 cm long, Tape, I find electrical tape the best, various colours, all these items
can be purchased from most good DIY stores Normally the smallest amount that can
be bought will make two sets holders. The first thing that needs to be done is to
make two 12 mm holes in one end of the tubing 5. cm from the end this should be done
by a responsible adult, then you need to insert one end of the string into the end
with the holes, then thread it through a 12 mm hole around the tube and through the
other 12 mm hole and back out of the end repeat this process on the other tube. Next
you need to adjust the length of string which is connecting the two tubes it needs
to measure around 10.5 cm, then tie the ends of the string in a reef knot then tie
the ends with cotton thread and wrap a small amount of tape on the ends to make secure.
[these should be checked after four hours of use] Next cover the entire twister holder
with a coloured tape this will help with gripping them, if you find the diameter
to small add more tape until it is comfortable. The Glow sticks you will need for
these can be obtained from various sports, marina or camping shops. Or checkout some
of the links were they can be bought online. You need a minimum of two six inch Glowstick
these are made in various colours try to avoid the green ones. To attach them push
the wide end of the glow stick into the end of the holder and wrap some clear tape
around the light and holder, six times will do. Do not forget to check out how to

I have been Twirling with Twisters in public spaces in the U. K for over 20 years
and in all that time I have only been asked once, by the police what I was using.
Once I had explained what they were and what they were used for Besides being extremely
visual. They said they had no problems with me using them in public places, as for
the laws in other countries you will have to ask the relevant authorities. The only
advice I can give, is be adamant that they are not Nunchaku. There are big differences
in Nunchaku style and the way they are used.
Are you a Juggling artist or performer who uses Glowsticks, Glowstick Liquid Rave
